A commercial register confirms that the company exists. It does not authorise every listed activity or replace sector and premises licences.
Post-formation checklist
- Tax file and tax card.
- VAT registration when applicable.
- E-invoicing or e-receipt compliance when applicable.
- Social insurance registration.
- Operational bank account and beneficial-owner records.
- Premises and operating licence.
- Sector regulator approval.
- Importer, exporter or commercial-agency registration where relevant.
Why licensing must be reviewed early
A regulator may require a particular entity, capital amount, qualified manager, location or premises specification. Discovering these requirements after signing a lease can be costly.
